Sunday Rain

Pink in the rain

Sunday Rain
(Original Version)

The window screen is trying to do its crossword puzzle,
but appears to know only vertical words.

Yellow in the rain

Sunday Friday Rain
(The Version I Like)

The sunday rain
plays crossword puzzles
on my window pane.

But seems to know
only the words
across.

At last, it rained

Saturday evening around seven, I witnessed the most-beautiful sunset ever. The bright-orange ball of fire glided down the sky, behind the puffed-up white clouds. Then, the sky turned pale orange. It was so magnificent. I saw white, blue, orange, and bright yellow turn into dark blue in a span of five minuscule minutes. The puffed-up white clouds disappeared and dark blue, almost black, ones overtook the sky. And then big, bold raindrops pattered on the car’s roof.

I love getting caught in the rain. I managed a hattrick this time. Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon, and Monday morning. Lovely.

I like the bathed trees and even the water-clogged Delhi streets cannot get my rain-spirits down. Oh and rain brings out the pleasant smell of freshly cut grass.
